I was recently asked by a woman at a conference if I could recommend a Chinese food cookbook. I am no expert in Chinese cuisine and didn’t know if she meant traditional, or modern. It turns out that the question was about a new cookbook that she had just found. She wanted to know what I thought about. I had been using a very similar cookbook for a while and was really enjoying it.
There’s a lot to like about it. It’s quite easy to read and has a large variety of recipes. If you’re new to Chinese food, then the book is a good place to start. If you’re not, then the cookbook can easily become your go-to cookbook.
The cookbook is also a great introduction to the art of cooking and one of the best ones I’ve seen. One of my favourite recipes from it is to make chicken rice balls, which is a very simple recipe that has a great flavour. I make them all the time, and they’re good for lunch too.
