SEO is about getting the right websites in front of targeted audiences. Sem is about understanding the audience and targeting them. This is an ongoing process throughout the life of your company, but I think the two are mutually-beneficial.
SEO works in a certain way, and that is it. No matter how good your content is, if it doesn’t get shown on the first page of a search engine, it will not get shown at all. On the other hand, if you can get the right content ranked high in the first place, then it will get seen by lots of people.
The problem is, and this is always the case, is that you don’t want to spend a lot of money on SEO. I know it is a huge word, but it is more or less the same thing as a paid advertisement. The only difference is that you are actually paying for that advertisement. You are paying for the opportunity to get the advertisement at the very top of a list.
SEO is a very broad term and it can include a lot of different things. But at its core, it is what happens when you pay a bunch of people to make an advertisement appear at the top of a list. Basically, the more people that see the advertisement, the more likely they are to click on the link. The problem is that the advertisement is paid for and you have to pay for it.

Their algorithms are very intelligent and they know that if a company’s website is linked to from a search engine, the chances of someone viewing the ad and clicking on it is much higher. The main reason why a link is counted is that it is considered a “click.” A click is when someone takes action, whether it be pressing a button or clicking on a link. AdWords does not count clicks like this. So for example, if I click on this AdWords link and the Google search results come up, they are counted as clicks. But if you click on the link and then Google does not come up, they are not counted as clicks.
