I think the word “self-awareness” actually carries a lot of medical meaning. When you are aware of what is going on in your life, you can adjust your responses accordingly. For example, they found that people who use their mobile phones every day are a highly mobile user. This could be because they have habits and routines that they repeat themselves, or because they are aware of how they think and act and are able to exercise meta-cognition.
