I’ve always loved this idea of a summer intern program. The concept of summer internships is fairly new and a little outdated. I love this idea because it allows you to get your foot in the door with the idea of a summer internship while getting a good dose of your own self-awareness.

I know this because I worked for a summer intern program for a year (it was so bad I couldn’t even tell you how much I hated it!). It was an awesome experience and I’d love to do it again.

I have no idea how this internship thing is working out for the students, but I heard somewhere that there are a lot of good opportunities out there for the interns. It might be less work than an internship, but it’d be a huge bonus if you get to build a reputation as being a part of the company.
The internships are usually very short-term. Just one to three weeks. Usually the companies are taking these interns on as full-time employees. And because they are full-time employees, they are not doing their own work. They are just helping out with the company’s projects. I think the best way to get a feel for what it takes to be an intern is to apply to them and see what you can get.
The interns are just someone to help with the company. The company is just a job for them. So you have to have a good resume, a good interview, and a good personality. That’s it.
I think it’s a lot easier to get an intern’s attention by making them feel like they are a little bit important. For example, you might have a project that could be the most important project of the year, and you want someone to help out on it and make it shine.
This also helps with the search engines. They don’t like interns.
There it is. Interns are really no different than anyone else. If you want to hire someone to help you with a project, go for it. There are plenty of people out there who have the skills to do it. So get the intern you think you need.
You are also not paying them $60,000 a year so you shouldnt expect them to do anything except sit around and look bored as you work on your project. The fact of the matter is that people doing work for free are in the minority. So hiring people or paying them is not going to change the fact that they are not as important as you think they are.
