So if you’ve been looking for some SEO consulting, the first thing you need to know about “seo conferences” is that they don’t actually mean conferences at all. These conferences are usually just held in hotel ballrooms, or in a conference room in a hotel, or at a conference center. There are no actual conferences, just lots of people showing up to talk about SEO and the latest news about SEO.
It’s easy to take an event like a conference for granted, but it’s always worth checking out what the heck they’re talking about. The most recent one was the 2012 SEO conference in Las Vegas, which is held in a huge hotel ballroom. You might be interested to find out how Google is still using the world’s largest search engine to index the conference (which is actually an online show that can be streamed live).
Google is still using the same search engine that the SEO conferences use, called Google’s PageRank. This was the first time anyone had used the search engine to index the conference, which took place in 2010. The Google search engine is actually the most popular search engine used to index the event. Google is also using the Google Zeitgeist, which is the time-lapse that the conference used to index the world.
It’s nice to see Google making progress in making the search engine more useful.

It’s not just Google who are making progress. For example, last year at this time Google started indexing the web page of the German version of the New York Times. Which means that a Google search can now be used to find a story about a conference and the stories about it, in German. This is another example of the Google search engine learning from the web.
