I have yet to hire a company that I didn’t trust with my data. I also have yet to hire a company that doesn’t seem to have a history of doing unethical things to people. I have yet to hire a company that doesn’t seem to have a history of abusing someone in some way.
In recent years Google has been hiring and promoting people who are known for being “out of control” with their SEO practices. They have even hired a former SEO consultant who was caught sending spammy emails to people, and had them fired.
This is one of the many things that Google is doing lately to help you find your next job, or even just to help you start a new one. Google is trying to help the next person by giving them access to their own website and helping them make an impression on the people who work there. This is called “offshore SEO” and it’s what Google is doing with the people who are working for them.
