I’ve been known to spend months and months planning my wedding. I’ve been known to spend months and months trying to put together a perfect guest list and then have to admit that I didn’t. I’ve been known to struggle with finding a dress for my best friend’s wedding, to give up on a wedding theme because “everyone else is doing it.
The problem is that while I was making wedding dreams come true, I was also spending weeks and weeks trying to find the perfect wedding theme, which is one reason why I am a little bit of a failure at weddings.
I find this to be the case because I tend to be pretty introverted when it comes to planning a wedding. I dont think it’s because I’m a bridesmaid or a cousin or anything like that. I know that I am a bridesmaid and I know that I dont have a lot of experience planning weddings, but I also know that I am very good at getting people to dance, dress up, do their hair, and generally behave in a way that makes them like me.
Well, it turns out I have a lot to say about wedding planning. I am going to be the kind of cousin I wish I was, I’m going to tell you things that I’ve learned, and I’m going to show you pictures of my wedding. To help me do that, I thought I’d do a theme.
