I used to work for a company called WebmasterWorld. They were one of those companies that was doing very well in the search engines. They were also one of the companies that was doing very well in social media. And in an effort to capitalize on their SEO efforts, they had an entire marketing department that had a staff of 50 or so people. The marketing department was tasked with creating “social” campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
All things considered, it’s amazing how poorly they did. They had their own website, they had their own LinkedIn page, they had their own Twitter account, and even a blog.
It’s almost like they had an entire marketing team built around a bunch of people that they hired just to perform SEO for them.
We had to call these people out specifically because they were doing something that had nothing to do with SEO. They were the people putting the link juice on our website. They were the people that were trying to get organic search traffic from our website, and they were the people that were actively trying to put a bad name on our website. And that is when the marketing department was put on blast.
The marketing department was a small group of people who had a very large job. They were hired to do SEO for the people that we hired. They did a lot of stuff that was really, really shady. They were the people that were trying to put a bad name on our website, and they were the people that were actively trying to get organic search traffic from our website. And that is when the marketing department was put on blast.
We have a website that is very, very heavily SEO, and we’ve seen this movie before. We’ve seen this movie before because we are the ones that have to spend a lot of time and money to market our website. We have to create content for other people. We have to create videos. We have to create a blog. We have to create a Facebook page. We have to create an Instagram account. We have to create a WordPress blog.
This has been going on for years, but Google has finally finally got what they want. The marketing department at Georgetown University has been whining about how their website is underperforming the competition. And this has finally gotten them to say that they were forced to take the SEO road by Google. This is all good.
In the world we live in, we have to have a website, a blog, a Facebook page, and all the other things we need to be doing. Yet it’s not always easy to keep up with all of the changes that go on in the SEO world. We may find this annoying. But we shouldn’t. The world is changing. We are changing. We can’t keep up with the changes. We really must.
The good news is that if you want to get the best results for your site, your website, and your business, you are going to have to focus on your core, and focus on it in all aspects. SEO is about using the internet to get the most out of your web presence. It all starts with doing keyword research. You can get a great keyword ranking for your site with the right keyword research. You don’t need to be a pro or anything else.
The key is to think in terms of how your site could be used.
