At the end of the class, the instructor would ask us to take our personal brands and apply them to our industry. He would then present a new way of thinking about and applying that brand, and say that he felt it was one of the most effective ways to develop a personal brand. I had never really considered this, so it was pretty exciting to get the opportunity to apply what I was learning in my personal brand to my digital marketing.
It’s not like we are selling our personal brands, but we are selling our personal brands and applying them directly to the businesses we are involved with.
